Saturday 12^th April saw Search Dog Chi & handler Dave Marsh, together with Navigator Chris Moody, called to assist Oldham MRT with reports of Red Flares on the Pennine Way. 2 dog teams were to search a 4Km stretch of the Pennine Way, starting at each end and hopefully meet in the middle. Dave, Chris & Chi were stood down responding near to Greenfield, when the flares were found to have been let off as part of a Golf clubs celebrations the previous night. Our other Dog Team Paul Baxendale and Blue were placed on Standby at their home location.
