Good Friday April 18^th LAS telephoned the Team for assistance with an injured Female rambler at Wayoh reservoir, Turton. Already at the Rivington Pike Good Friday celebrations, so it saw a quick deployment of Team vehicles to Turton. But we were hampered by the inconsiderate parking of private vehicles around Rivington & also a GMCFS appliance was blocking the road while fighting a moorland fire !! On arrival we met up with the LAS crew and placed the casualty onto the Bell Mountain Rescue stretcher and carried her to the waiting LAS ambulance. Examination showed a serious fracture of her left ankle which was later confirmed at Royal Bolton Hospital.
