At 16:20 on the same day (Friday), our team leader was contact by Lancashire Constabulary, regarding the teams’ urgent help with the search for a missing Down’s Syndrome male, in the Entwistle Reservoir area. A major police response was in hand – including their helicopter – when the man was located, fortunately unharmed. Our TL and DTL were responding, but a full team pager call had not yet been made.
