At 19:25, Lancon requested the urgent assistance of the team with regards to a search for a missing 35 year old woman, whose car had been found at Rivington. A large scale search involving 39 team members, search dog Chi, and large police resources, including dogs, traffic, and the police helicopter, was carried on into the early hours of the following day, when news was received at 03:17 hours that the woman had been admitted to Royal Bolton Hospital. (An ambulance was called for the woman when she was found some miles from the search area, on the outskirts of Bolton, at 02:32). In all, the team and police were involved for nearly 9 continuous hours.
