On Sunday afternoon, whilst still in the teams’ area, after the Darwen Biathlon event, team Landrover BM4 and its 3 crew, chanced upon an incident outside Great House Barn Information Centre, where an elderly lady had slipped, sustaining suspected hip and groin injuries. A GMAS Ambulance had already been called to the incident, and arrived shortly after our vehicle was flagged down by the public to offer assistance. The lady was admitted to Royal Bolton Hospital by the GMAS Bolton North crew.
