Called out at 12:40 by GMAS, the team attended a serious incident, where a 37 years old woman had fallen from a disused railway line bridge, some 25 feet, sustaining serious injuries. This incident in the Golborne area, just to the rear of Haydock Park Horse Racing Course, was jointly attended by Merseysde Ambulance, GMAS and GMP. 13 team members were involved in a stretcher carry of the woman from the incident scene, across farmers fields to the nearest point the Ambulance could reach.
