Called by GMAS to assist with a female who had fallen 50 foot down a very steep open slope on a disused coal tip. 4 MR Ambulances converged on this incident with other members enroute direct to the scene, Team members and GMAS paramedics loaded the young girl on to a spine board and carried her in a Bell MR stretcher to the waiting ambulance. Possible spinal injuries required a very careful evacuation

Whilst the casulaty was being carried to the ambulance, those not involved in that helped get the ambulance free form the quagmire, which it had got bogged down in !!
