Our Team Leader was contacted directly at 18.08 by Lancashire Constabulary, for the teams assistance in the search for a missing 72 year old woman, in the Rivington area. She had gone missing at 15.30, and in view of the large numbers of the public around on this sunny day, and that the lady had still not turned up, the Police were now concerned for her well being. As the Team Leader was responding to meet with Police, and prior to a full team pager Call Out, the missing woman was fortunately located, safe and well.
