Greater Manchester Ambulance Service paged the Team for assistance at 17:19 Hrs with a 70 year old male, reported to have fallen into a river, in the urban location of Sale. Two GMAS Ambulances were dispatched together with ourselves. The Team & one Ambulance was Stood Down Responding with one member already on scene at 17:27 Hrs, when the casualty was discovered to be safe and well and able to walk from the casualty site.
