On Friday evening, via Lancashire Constabulary, the team was called out to directly assist Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team in the search for an 83 year old missing from home woman, in the Rawtenstall area of Lancashire.

Ghostly figures come back from searching to the Bolton MRT RV point

18 Bolton members joined forces with 12 RPMRT members, searching areas between Rawtenstall and Haslingden. Just before 11 PM, the woman was located safe & well in the Stubbins area of Ramsbottom. A very warm night, made all the more pleasurable by the large numbers of midges present at the search briefing area. Police and the Police ASU helicopter also assisted, along with many local people who kindly offered their help (and cups of tea, biscuits and meat pies.)
