By now, all we wanted to do was go home and have our tea, when we were called back to Cutacre tip (another off-road motorcyclist incident), where we met up with the responding GMAS ambulance. Whilst trying to establish the actual incident location on this extensive former coal-tip, the casualty assisted by a friend, actually walked to us & the GMAS ambulance (it saves us the job!). He had a dislocated shoulder, and reported that he had dislocated his opposite shoulder on four separate previous occasions, so he was no newcomer to this form of injury.
This was our 6th off-road motorcycle incident of the year, as they all take place on former coal-tips, we inevitably seem to spend more time cleaning our kit used and vehicles after the incident, than we do at the actual incident location!
