Readers of the website will recall our feature story of Tuesday 22nd February 2005, when we were pleased to find out that we had been nominated by St. Matthews Church, Brownlow Way, Bolton, as their Charity of The Year.

This morning our Team Chairman Tony McNally was invited to the St. Matthews Saints service at St. Matthews Church where alongside local churchgoers were parishioners from other churches.

After the service Tony took part in the churches’ traditional after service dinner and was then totally surprised to receive a cheque dontion for £500 from all at St. Matthews Church. A further surprise came with the donation of two cash amounts, raising the total donation to £520.

The Team is absolutely delighted to be supported in such a manner by St. Matthews Church and an appropriate way of acknowledging this large donation is being arranged by the Team.
