We have received today a wonderful donation of £500.00 from the Horwich Carnival Races Committee, as a result of our all day involvement back in June this year, in the Horwich town centre based carnival races, when we provided race and spectator standby first aid and rescue cover.
The team is proud to be associated with this annual event, which combines road cycling events and road running events, throughout the day around Horwich town centre which is closed off for the races.
Our thanks go to our friends and supporters in Horwich RMI Harriers and Athletics Club, Horwich Cycling Club, sponsors and others involved in the Carnival Races for providing such a generous donation.
The team will be fully supporting the Sunday 18th June 2006 event, which promises to be another great day of cycling and road racing talent on show, and whats more it’s completely free to watch.
