This evening our Vice President Tony McNally and our Medical Equipment Officer Alistair Greenough were the guest speakers at the regular meeting of the Bolton Medical Society at the Education Centre at Royal Bolton Hospital.
The assembled audience consisted of staff from the hospital including Doctors, Consultants and Nurses, who were all given an insight into the team via a powerpoint presentation.
The evening had commenced with an excellent buffet, to which Tony and Alistair had been invited. At the conclusion of their presentation the two were honoured to receive a £150.00 donation from Bolton Medical Society.
A further donation of £50.00 very kindly came from friend and supporter of the team, Doctor David Bisset, whose son we rescued in a local climbing accident, in a joint operation with the Ambulance service.Another member of the audience also made a very generous and kind personal donation of £20.00.
We understand that many people at the evening were interested in Tonys offer for them to visit our Team Base in the future.
Many thanks to all at the Bolton Medical Society for their kindness in supporting the team, and of course to Doctor Bisset who we believe was instrumental in inviting us to the evening.
