The Mountain Rescue ’Hummer’ today visited a number of supporters of the team.
The first visit was to a cheque presentation from the Director of Keymen Group, of Chorley New Rd, Bolton. Keymen Group specialise in care in the community, supplying carers to private and social services. The director also presented the team with a cheque for £30.00. The team would like to thank all of the Keymen Group for their kind contribution.
The next stop was the Wigan branch of “Go Outdoors”, where many of our team members visit, making use of their excellent team discount offer (an ex-team member also served on the senior management team here).
Amir Khans boxing gym “Gloves Community Centre” was the next stop, meeting with community boxing training staff.
Bolton Army Cadets (103Regt RA) had a photocall with the Mountain rescue hummer (they have previously raised money for the team).
Finally the off road group “Mud Muppets” compared the performance of the Mountain Rescue Hummer with their own vehicles.
