Just after returning to the Bolton Fire Station base from the previous moorland incident (119/2008), Bolton Mobile 2 was requested by NWAS (Manchester area) to attend a female who had fallen on an icy drive in Lostock.

With 2 members immediately available for this incident, a response was made and the casualty was treated with spinal immobilisation and analgesic drugs before the arrival of an NWAS Emergency ambulance, which transported the casualty to Royal Bolton Hospital.
