We have received today a copy of a letter sent out to the national Mountain Rescue community via our Chairman of MREW Mr David Allan OBE FRCS from Roderick Johnson MNI, Cheif Coastguard of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency in his role as Chair of the UK Search and Rescue (UKSAR) Operators Group regarding the European Year of the Volunteer.
