Every year the pupils, some of their parents and the teachers at Belmont Primary School, take part in a sponsored walk, which has raised over the years a huge sum of money for various charities, ourselves included.

Usually we are in a position to ’Watch over’ the walk, and meet the children at various stages along the route with our team vehicles.

Unfortunately this year we were not able to provide our usual support due to a major team commitment at the City Airport Manchester (Barton) 2011 Aviation and Family Fun Day, however team member Dave Cook walked the route with all present, being on hand to act as a link should the team be required.

Dave reported that the walk was as popular as ever, and thankfully apart from sore legs, it all passed without incident.
