It’s only seven days into the New Year and with eleven incidents attended, we have already contributed an amazing 204 person hours (8.5 person days) on operational incidents on 2013 so far. (Please also see a similar themed report we made just before the end of the year)

The team keeps meticulous incident records, and in reviewing some figures recently within our records, from 1968 (When the team formed) to 31st December 2012, the total number of incidents attended by the team has reached the impressive figure of 2032 separate incidents. (As some of our early years, particularly pre 1980 are poorly recorded, this figure may well be greater)
2012 with 118 separate incidents attended was our seventh busiest year for operational incidents.
