Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

10th August 2013

We are very pleased to share the following communication with all our readers received by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE this afternoon from GMFRS Ben Levy, the organiser of Thursday’s very successful Greater Manchester Emergency Services Third Annual Open Day at the Trafford Centre, Manchester.

“Garry,

We talked on Thursday about how many people you could engage with at something like 999 Day. Well, on the social media front we exceeded all expectations.

My quest for the ‘Virtual #999Day’ developed well. By tea-time on Thursday we had almost 2.9 million impressions.

That is; #999Day fell into the timeline of 2.9 million Twitter timelines.
Bolton MRT tweets alone reached 10,888 accounts. Superb!

And people are still talking about it………………………

Ben Levy,
Station Manager,
Operational Assurance,
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.”
