This afternoon, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and Trainee Call Out list member Michael Wakerley, visited GMFRS Horwich Fire Station to meet GMFRS Horwich Watch Manager Craig Lunt.

They visited to show Craig Lunt our new Incident Control Vehicle, radio callsign ‘Bolton Mobile 6,’ with Craig showing great interest in this our latest team vehicle.

In turn Craig gave Garry and Michael an overview of the new MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) equipment being fitted to GMFRS Appliances, demonstrating the MDT fitted to the Horwich Pump Appliance.

Garry went on to discuss with Craig the possibility of future joint training opportunities between the Bolton MRT and GMFRS Horwich.
