Tonight, as the entire team were preparing to depart for their regular Wednesday evenings training exercise, we had a surprise visit by a small contingent from the 35th Bolton East (St Maxentius) Cub Scout Pack.
Following their recent visit to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team at our Ladybridge Hall Base HQ on 5th April 2011, the Cubs very kindly held a bedding plant sale in aid of the team, raising the marvelous sum of £50.00, and this evening totally surprised us by arriving unannounced to make this wonderful and very thoughtful £50.00 donation for the team.

Team Chairman Craig Lamb gratefully accepts the kind donation
The two Cub Scouts, George Walton and George Baxendale, visited with their Assistant Cub Scout Leader Kim Carmyllie. George Baxendale is the son of former team members Paul and Yolande Baxendale (Paul was also the teams first Search and Rescue dog Handler with his Search and Rescue Dog blue)
The entire team membership would like to thank all the Cub Scouts and Leaders of 35th Bolton East (St Maxentius) Cub Scout Pack for their very kind and appreciated donation.
