Today in very cold temperatures and with all day rain replacing snow, (it didn’t seem any warmer though!) team members were out at the Black Horse Street, Bolton, Morrisons store, for our last Store collection of 2010.
Team Call Out list members Craig Lamb, Gillian Leigh (and her daughter Megan) Ken Oakes, Mark Parry (and his daughter Nicole) Chris Tennant and Trainee Team member Martin Banks were joined by Support Group members Peter Critchley, Andy Keyworth, Johanne Lamb, Andy Murphy, Tina Tennant and Julie Thompson.
Ten of our new Probationary Team members also joined in the collection day rota, including young Daniel, the son of Probationary team member David Cook.
In total very kind shoppers contributed £404.59 to the team today, plus asking lots of questions as to the teams operations.
Thanks as ever to the kindness of the management of Morrison’s store, Bolton, for yet again allowing us to collect at their store, and for their continued and much appreciated support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
With this our last store collection of 2010, it is opportune to give a huge public thanks through our website to long serving team member Chris Tennant, who alongside his role as a very active call out list member and Team council member, also organises and co-ordinates all our store collections, and joint with his wife and Support group member, Tina Tennant, also counts up all the coins and notes collected.
