17th October 2008

Today the Mountain Rescue ’Hummer’ vehicle, on loan to the team from General Motors continued its tour of the team area by visiting collection box sites in Tockholes and Abbey Village.

The first stop was to the cafe at Roddlesworth Information Centre, locally known as Vaughns Cafe, where the staff continued to be very supportive of the team.

The next stop was to Carmel & Daves sandwich shop in Abbey Village. Who, like the staff at Vaugns Cafe had their photo taken with the Hummer.
