Whilst travelling back from the previous incident. NWAS (GMA) contacted the Team via radio asking if we could respond to a Code Purple at a residential address in Horwich, Bolton.

Our Bolton Mobile 3 was tasked to attend by NWAS (GMA) in a First Responder role and also tasked for ’back-up’ were BM1 & BM2.

Vehicles arrived at the address at the same time as responding Police Officers, to find the casualty locked within their property. GMP gained access to the property and together with Bolton MRT found that the casualty was, unfortunately, deceased.

With the arrival of a NWAS (GMA) Emergency Ambulance, we handed over to them and left the Police and Ambulance personnel to deal with the formalities of such an event.
