Tonight saw the monthly meeting again of our Support Group, which continues to grow in strength, under the direct link back to the team of our Fundraising Officer (Co opted) Lisa Fair.

Considerable progress has been made by the Support Group with regards to getting together an Annual Report on the team due for publication in early April 2006, and also with plans to dramatically scale up the number of collecting boxes we have out and about.

The Support Group is lending tremendous assistance to the team on our many supermarket collection events, and by putting in guest appearances as ” Exercise casualties ” during our Wednesday night training sessions, besides taking on the task of administering our Collection Boxes. (they’ve even volunteered to assist with catering for our weekend residential Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue, scheduled for late October.)
