Whilst simultaneously responding to, and dealing with incidents 74/2004 and 75/2004, Garry Rhodes, our Team Leader, had to stop and assist an injured pedestrian who had suffered a head injury, apparently caused by walking into a street sign in the Little Hulton area, close to Garry’s home. Garry, assisted by a kind member of the public, who had also stopped to assist, called for a GMAS ambulance and provided immediate first aid to the man who had suffered from facial injuries. Once the ambulance had arrived, Garry left the scene and went on to respond to incident 75/2004.
