At 13:01 Hrs GMAS paged the Team for assistance with a young male who had fallen from a rope swing in Farnworth. The young lad had suspected fractured arm and was down the bottom of a steep sided valley. Using a rope system, the young lad, who had been placed on a Bell MR Stretcher, was hauled up the side and carried to the waiting GMAS ambulance at the roadside, where the young casualties mother was there to meet him.
