At 13:15 Hrs, LAS requested the assistance of the Team, with the report of an injured pedal cyclist, in the Rivington area. Our first member arrived on scene at the same time as the LAS Ambulance, to discover the cyclist had crashed immediately by the road side on Sheep House Lane. The young female cyclist was able to walk to the Ambulance, so other Team members and responding Team Vehicles, were Stood Down, along with Helimed 08, which was Stood Down On Scene. The young cyclist was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital with cuts, bruises and a possible hand fracture.
