Thanks to all at GMFRS Bolton Central Fire Station, and in particular Sub Officer Shaun Walton, 41 team members were given awareness instruction and practical training in ascending and descending Fire Service ladders, including operational protocols. Furthermore, all the team members present were also given a “familiarity ride” on the Bolton Central based Hydraulic Platform. (Simon Snorkel). This awareness training is essential to the team, to ensure safe working on joint incidents with the Fire Service.
