In the mid-evening, GMP contacted the team, requesting assistance in a search for a 75 year old male, who had gone missing from a care home in the Firwood area of Bolton. Whilst Search Dog Chi (with handler Dave Marsh) commenced the 1st search area, and team members were assembling at our base, the missing man was located by a GMP Community Patrol Officer. At the conclusion of this search, we were redeployed to another urgent search (story to follow soon!). 37 team members, plus search dog Chi were involved.
