At 15:40, GMAS requested the team to assist with the evacuation of a 15 year old horse rider. who had fallen from her horse, sustaining an injured leg. Team vehicles were on scene within 15 minutes, at the Moses Gate Country Park, Farnworth. 21 team members evacuated the young girl by stretcher, travelling 1km to the waiting ambulance.
