Our Team Leader was contacted by GMP in the early evening, for information and advice, concerning a 14 year old schoolboy who had become seperated from his school orienteering group, and was now in contact with Police via his mobilephone. Lancashire Police despatched officers and their helicopter, which landed by the boy, then airlifted him the short distance to a waiting Ambulance and other officers.
