We were called to two incidents during the day. The first, at 18:11 hours, involved a man who had slipped and hit his head near to the Pigeon Tower in Rivington. We were called to the scene by Lancashire Ambulance Service alongside a GMAS crew from Blackrod and also Helimed 08. As it transpired that the casualties injuries were minor, the team transported him through the terraced gardens to the GMAS ambulance waiting at Lower House car park.
