At 10:23 AM, Lancashire Ambulance Service requested our assistance at an incident in Rivington. A mountain biker had fallen 6ft down a drop off a footpath behind Liverpool castle, onto the banks of Rivington reservoir. The team assisted the paramedics from the ambulance service and Helimed 08, and our team members lifted the casualty back onto the footpath using our Bell Mountain Rescue stretcher, and transported him to the waiting land ambulance.
