This morning saw our Trainee DVSD (Drowned Victim Search Dog) Handler Dave Marsh and his Trainee DVSD Search Dog Sasha, take to the water of Pennington Flash, Leigh, in our 3.5m semi rigid inflatable SAR Boat, to undertake more intense training in the final stages leading up to Dave and Sasha being accessed and graded soon to be able to undertake operational water search incidents.

Dave was accompanied during this mornings exercise by fellow Bolton MRT colleague Dave Cook, our Equipment Officer – Water, and one of three qualified Cox’s for our SAR Boat.
