Virtual Horwich Festival of Racing

To help keep the Festival alive in 2020. this years event has become a Virtual Challenge, with graded walks or runs.

We would like to thank the Festival, as for every entry a donation will be presented to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, acknowledging our support in keeping our community safe.

Toady we received a visit from the Mayor of Horwich, and were very grateful for the donation of £1,000

Coronavirus: Bolton restrictions tightened

Tighter coronavirus restrictions have been introduced in Bolton, including only allowing takeaways and curtailing nightlife, after a rise in cases.

All hospitality venues will be limited to takeaway and must be closed to customers between 22:00 BST and 05:00 each day.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the town in Greater Manchester had “the highest case rate in the country
